Milan said champions Italy's first soccer on Wednesday that he extended his contractwith midfielder Mark van Bommel to continue the link between the two parties until Juneof 2012 when the team extended his contract with Brazilian defender Thiago Silva until the year 2016.
And Van Bommel joined AC Milan in January, arrived from Bayern Munich and becamea team with them.
The media have speculated the possibility of joining Van Bommel (34 years) to one of the English clubs but he decided to stay for another season in the champions Italy.
And extended the reserve goalkeeper Flavio Roma his contract with AC Milan foranother year as well.
